Picassa is the artistic world of Dutch artist Eveline Kroese

Her work is driven by curiosity rather than perfection. She never starts with a sketch or a finished image in mind. Instead, each painting evolves intuitively, with every new layer responding to the one before it. Faces emerge in unexpected ways, allowing multiple perspectives, emotions and personalities to coexist within a single composition. This openness leaves room for interpretation, making every artwork a different experience.

Every original artwork is handmade in Amsterdam using layered textures and acrylic paint. Alongside her paintings, Eveline also creates sculptural works in plaster, extending her signature visual language beyond the canvas.

Besides her own collections, Picassa creates commissioned artworks that subtly weave personal stories, memories and relationships into her compositions. Often, these references remain hidden within the artwork—recognisable only to the people they belong to.

Over the past years, PicassA has collaborated with hotels, interior designers and fashion brands, while continuing to create one-of-a-kind pieces for private collectors. Whether hanging in a home, boutique hotel or gallery space, each artwork is designed to spark curiosity, invite conversation and reveal something new over time.

Every face tells a different story.
